MSI wizard — installs a single self-contained Diffoniq.exe (no runtime
DLLs) plus the help, creates Start menu and desktop shortcuts. Installing a newer version
on top keeps your settings.
One executable, zero installation. Put an empty diffoniq.ini next to it and
Diffoniq stays fully portable — settings, the content-hash cache and your licence file
live beside the program, nothing is written elsewhere. A USB stick works fine.
Version 2.0.0 · build 28a54f04 · both files are Authenticode-signed by
C.Sitte Softwaretechnik e.U. with an RFC 3161 timestamp — Windows shows the
publisher before anything runs. Verify a download with
certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256 and compare it with the checksum above.
By downloading you accept the End User License Agreement. Settings are
stored as a plain INI file (%APPDATA%\Diffoniq\diffoniq.ini, or next to the
executable in portable mode).
Windows 10/11, 64-bit. Windows on ARM: runs under the built-in x64 emulation — there is no native ARM64 build, and we do not test on ARM hardware. Only 64-bit builds are released.
The same MSI installs silently for software distribution (GPO, Intune, …):

The deployed licence lands in %PROGRAMDATA%\Diffoniq\diffoniq.lic for all users of
the machine and survives upgrades and uninstalls.
Install 2.0 over your current version — settings, colours, recent paths and your registration are picked up automatically on the first start. Registered WDiff32 users get a Diffoniq 2.x licence free: read the upgrade notes.
