- WDiff32 1.59  →  + Diffoniq 2.0

Same tool. New name. Bigger scope.

WDiff32 has compared files on Windows since 1995. Version 2.0 is the largest release in its history — large enough that the name grew with it: WDiff32 is now Diffoniq, still made by C.Sitte Softwaretechnik in Austria.

Your upgrade is free

Every registered WDiff32 user gets a complimentary Diffoniq 2.x licence — no repurchase. In most cases you do not even have to ask for it: install 2.0 over your current version, and your registration travels with your settings and unlocks Diffoniq on the first start. Updates within 2.x stay free; a future major version is a paid upgrade, typically offered at a discount to existing licence holders.

When you do need a licence file: setting up 2.0 on a new machine without your old configuration, a portable 1.x installation you did not bring along, or a registration that 2.0 does not recognise. Diffoniq uses signed licence files (diffoniq.lic) instead of the old registration dialog — there is nowhere to type a key. Request your file below.
Why the new name? “WDiff” always collided with an unrelated Unix tool of the same name — and 2.0 outgrew the “32” era anyway. Diffoniq is unique, searchable, and ours.

Enter the details of your WDiff32 registration. If they match our records, your personal licence file is issued and e-mailed to you as a diffoniq.lic attachment from order@diffoniq.com — save it, then import it in Diffoniq via Help ▸ License… (or drop it onto the Diffoniq window). Requests we cannot match automatically are reviewed by hand; please allow a few days.
