<!--
PAD for Diffoniq 2.0 (formerly WDiff32). Main address since 11.10.2026 (bridge 495, Chris):
  https://diffoniq.com/pad/diffoniq_pad.xml — Application_XML_File_URL points there, so portals
that read the field move over by themselves.
THIS FILE IS THE ONLY SOURCE: diffoniq-site/pad/diffoniq_pad.xml in the csitte.at repo.
https://www.csitte.at/pad/WDiff32_pad.xml stays as a byte-identical copy, no redirect
(portals do not follow redirects reliably); web/scripts/sync-pad.mjs writes it into
web/public/pad/ before every csitte.at build. Never edit that copy. Both vhosts send
X-Robots-Tag noindex for their file name. Switched from the
1.59 PAD at the 2.0 launch (bridge 065, Chris 07.10.2026: name and URLs to Diffoniq /
  diffoniq.com, versioned installer name).

  Changes vs. the 1.59 PAD:
   - Program_Name WDiff32 -> Diffoniq; product URLs, order page, icon and screenshot on
diffoniq.com. Company_WebSite_URL stays www.csitte.at (the company, not the product).
   - Program_Type: Shareware -> Demo (the term "Shareware" is retired; Demo is the
closest valid PAD 4.0 enum for a time-limited evaluation. See product-terminology.)
   - Price: USD only ($35 Single User License, as on diffoniq.com/order/). The EUR field
is gone — Paddle shows the local price at checkout, a fixed EUR figure here would
be a second price list to keep true.
   - Removed dead/legacy blocks: <ASP> (association defunct), SWReg affiliate, the
     dada-mailer <NewsFeed> URL, GooglePlus fields.
   - Contacts: support@ / order@diffoniq.com for the product, contact@csitte.at for the
company; postal code corrected to 5163.
   - All URLs https; filenames reference real files (the 1.59 PAD listed missing
     wdiff150.zip / WDiff149.zip / wdiff.zip and caused 404s for PAD validators).
   - Distribution_Permissions no longer advertises the product as "shareware".
   - EULA keeps the explicit "evaluation period, NOT a time bomb" wording.

Revision 10.10.2026 (grok-wdiff, bridge 479), deployed 10.10.2026 after Chris' OK:
   - validated against the official PAD 4.0 spec (AppVisor padspec.xml, 104 fields):
live file had 7 failures; this draft has 3 left (see below).
   - Program_Change_Info shortened to <= 300, Program_System_Requirements to <= 100 chars.
   - CERTIFIED=N and <ASP><ASP_Member>N</ASP_Member></ASP> added (spec checks them).
   - Remaining by design: PublisherID/AppID (AppVisor-only), Program_OS_Support (no
Win10/Win11 in the spec; kept on purpose, Chris 10.10.2026).
   - All other facts re-checked live 10.10.2026: MSI 200, Content-Length 5267456, SHA-256 on
     /download/ ef929e14...622cdd, $35 on /order/, 30 days, address on /imprint/, release
     07.10.2026 (feed.xml), screenshot + icon 200, EULA 200.

portablen ZIP sagt "Windows 10/11, 64-bit".
NICHT VERIFIZIERT: die Tokens "Win10 x64"/"Win11 x64" gegen einen PAD-4.0-Validator
         — das x64-Suffix ist aus der 1.59-Datei uebernommen ("Win7 x64"). Meldet ein Portal

<Program_Change_Info>Fixes: /sync and the headless report no longer treat a same-size file as unchanged; Re-verify (Ctrl+F5) reliably reads every file. New: --reverify for scheduled checks, console launcher DiffoniqC.exe for batch files, colour editor with contrast check.</Program_Change_Info>

ueberlebt): gilt, solange (a) Release|x64 OHNE /arch:AVX2 gebaut wird — Stand
gibt, deshalb "we do not test". Faellt (a) weg, kommt eine Versionsgrenze

Kein nativer ARM64-Build fuer 2.0 (zurueckgestellt: ohne Testgeraet keine
    <!-- PAD 4.0 spec: Program_System_Requirements max. 100 chars (regex ^[^<\x09]{0,100}\Z);
the decided wording has 145. Cut per the priority rule above ("no native ARM64 build"
         beats the test sentence). OK Chris 10.10.2026 (bridge 479) - wording rule of 11.08.2026 (bridge 060);
the full wording stays on the site and in the portable ZIP README. -->

<Char_Desc_450>Diffoniq (formerly WDiff32) shows two text files, folders or archives side by side, differences marked line by line, and lets you drag changes from one side to the other. ZIP, 7-Zip, RAR, tar, CAB and ISO archives open and compare like folders, nested to any depth. Folder synchronisation, comparison reports and rename detection included. Full Unicode support. A native Windows tool: no account, no cloud.</Char_Desc_450>
<Char_Desc_2000>Diffoniq is the next generation of WDiff32, a Windows tool for seeing what changed. It displays two text files, two folders or two archives side by side. Common and different sections are clearly marked, differences are highlighted line by line, and you can jump from one difference to the next. Changes can be taken over from one side to the other by drag and drop, and the edited file saved.

Archives are treated like folders: ZIP, 7-Zip, RAR, tar (also compressed), CAB and ISO files open like a directory and compare like one, including an archive inside an archive, to any depth. Nothing has to be extracted first.

Version 2.0 adds full Unicode support (UTF-8 and UTF-16 files, international file names), folder synchronisation, comparison reports, and detection of renamed and moved files. Diffoniq can also serve as the diff viewer of another program, such as a version control client.

Diffoniq is a native Windows application with no account and no cloud. Licences are signed offline licence files with no online activation. Registered users of WDiff32 receive a free Diffoniq 2.x licence. The evaluation version is the complete program for 30 days.</Char_Desc_2000>
